Quick Tips for Changing your Look

 1.  Hair.  Experiment with a new look by simply parting hair on other side.  The new look can add volume at the roots. This can change the way the hair frames your face. Or have your stylist add some layers for more volume.
  2.  Shiny, healthy hair makes you look polished.   Call your salon and book an appointment for a glaze.  It is a semi-permanent treatment that will smooth and shine each strand, without weighing down your hair.
3.   Curl your hair, using Velcro rollers.   Mist dry hair with a little hairspray.  Rolling hair under (medium sized if hair is shoulder length and large size of hair is longer).  Use blow dryer for a few minutes.  Let sit while you finish getting ready for the day.  Unroll and use fingers to comb curls in place.
4.  Play up your eyes. Party ready eyes do not have to be dark colors.  For fresh, illuminated eyes, smooth a shimmery taupe cream shadow over lids.  Dab a sheer silver shadow on the inner corner.  Finish with two coats of mascara.
5.   Get a manicure.  This gives your nails a clean and groomed look.
6.  Clean out your closet.  Pull out items you will not wear again.  Make room for the clothes that you forgot you already have. This is a chore that really should be done seasonally. When we don’t clear out our closet seasonally, we tend to forget that might already have three little black dresses, or five pairs of black yoga pants. A good habit to give away one garment or pair of shoes for each new item you purchase and bring home.  Knowing you about to give something away or throwing it away sometimes makes you think twice before making a possibly unnecessary purchase.
7.  Accessorize.  Buy a new purse or shoes.  A new accessory can make your appearance seem different without breaking the bank on a new wardrobe.
